A Bill was introduced into the Australian Parliament on 22 June 2011 for an Act to amend the law relating to social security and family assistance, and for other purposes. Social Security and Other Legislation Amendment (Miscellaneous Measures) Bill 2011. FASD is currently not recognised as a disability by the Australian Government.
